How To Retrieve Your Lost MTN Number within 24 hours.

I guess many of us in one way or the other may have lost their mobile number, or have it stolen, destroyed or travel out of the country.  Gone are the days when you have to under some stress when trying to retrieve your own lost line.
Now you can do MTN welcome back at the comfort of your house.  MTN Nigeria Welcome back is a package meant for prepaid customers to help them quickly retrieve their lost MTN Lines.

The follow steps below are steps by step guidelines on how you can retrieve your lost MTN lines here in Nigeria

1)   Go to any of the MTN Outlets or any of people that sells MTN Lines around you. Tell the person that you want to buy MTN Welcome Pack Line. This normally costs N200, but it also depends on the area.

2)   After purchasing the MTN Welcome Back Line, you need the keep these following data handing:
              a)  3 Numbers you have called with your lost number
              b)  Your last Recharge you did before your number got lost
              c)  The name you used to register the Sim
              d)  The details of your new Welcome back SIM
3)  Then visit the MTN Website by clicking here  and Kindly fill out the form and click on the submit button. You will be required to confirm the provided information, after which you click on 'continue' for the information to be submitted. The fields marked * are mandatory.

4) After submitting the form, you have to wait up to 24 hours before you insert the new sim to your mobile phone.

Note: You need to buy a brand NEW Prepaid SIM pack, and DO NOT put it in a handset before filling
the Welcome Back form. You can only put your new SIM pack into a phone for use after 24hours of submitting your request AND/OR once you receive a confirmation of receipt that your filled welcome back request has been processed.

Please note that there may be an additional delay with requests made after 12noon on Fridays. The submitted request will ONLY be processed if at least two (2) of the validation questions asked are correctly answered. If otherwise, the request will not be processed, and you will be informed via email, a phone call or SMS to the alternative number provided."
